The important cities were drowned, most of them or most of their areas, and in all the places that חפא sent the guys to, the situation is the same: swamps, flooded streets, destruction, stunned people, stench, corpses, looting.

There is nothing to be done here, even if the liberating forces will come from the galaxy, and it is good that we have the possibility to escape from this alternative history and return to the normal history, where everything still exists, and we should do it as soon as possible. There is nothing to argue about at all.
A line of dark-colored spaceships passed above us, making its way at great speed. חפא said that the rulers are removing the last equipment, before they flee the solar system. It sounded like he also wanted to leave already, to end this dream.
And also the water that was below of the hill where we were standing on, started to rise and get closer. A tide was rising.
I remembered the sights I saw, the remains of drowned Tel Aviv, the detainees in the camp on Latroon Beach, who don't even want to escape because they have nowhere to. I also began to feel the stench surrounding everything, which I had not felt before.
Only "the stolen" Stoli continued to insist that he didn't do it all for nothing, to escape. He risked his life in battles with the rulers, stole a spaceship from them, went on rescue operations in the galaxy ("You saved us and we thank you. All this was so that we could all get here and escape"), all this – to suddenly "wake up from a dream". He wants to stay here and see the end with his own eyes – how the world free from the galactic darkness, how it rebuilds itself. Others argued that we have no business with the galactic darkness, we got involved with it against our will, and it's good to get out of this movie. I heard the first sounds of guilt towards חפא, who got us involved in all this. חפא himself was silent, I thought that he would defend, that he would justify his war, that he had been training us for it all the time, that he would speak about defeating the galactic darkness, that he would speak for the Blue Ruler, for the Federation that would soon come and return the planet to our control so that we could restore it, with all the help we would receive from space.
After all, in the world to which we are supposed to return, we haven't even started enything yet.
And maybe it's better. Maybe this is exactly the lesson we should have received from the alternative history.
And I thought about my forherd label. The number still  felt burning on (will it be erased when we get back there?). Is it possible that there, in the 'real' world, there will be also such things?

And what will happen to Ricardo, and all the friends I leave here, to whom I was on my way? Will they get along? And actually, they got along until now, after all I already left them once.

The results of the vote were clear. 106 voted in favor of returning, 2 abstained, and 3 voted to stay: Stoli, Zvi and Alva. חפא asked Elton to take out the relay, and called everyone to approach a high voltage cable that was spread close to the water line, and continued we didn't how distant.

חפא ordered us to be in a circle.
The transfer will take place within a second, as soon as Elton presses the green button, after the relay has already been placed on the electric cable.
Everything within the radius of the circle will pass with us, back to the world from which we started it all, which has been waiting for us since 1977.

Then "the stolen" Stoli said he stay. Even if he wil be here alone.
He took a few steps until he was far enough away from the circle.
Two more came out of the circle and joined him.
And then I, too. We haven't looked back.
"You will get along without me" we suddenly heard חפא say to the others. "Thank you for all the help you gave me, I had a good time with you and I hope you had a good time with me too. I also have a few more things to sort out in the alternative history. Wait for us at the end of August."
חפא joined us.
After a minute we were alone on the island, in a world that returned to its time of Genesis.
