"Magic," said Chapa, "well, magic doesn't belong to Intelligence α, nor is it of Intelligence A. It was born in an intermediate stage, and was part of a transitional link between Intelligence α and Intelligence A. Adami was able back then to speak to both Intelligences. I don't know exactly when that was, but it was back when 'The High Ones' still permitted the creation of such creatures in the universe—ones that had a connection to both Intelligences.
In several ways, magic is similar to how creatures communicated and operated in the universe in a primeval era, even before the appearance of lizards and crocodiles." "And the quadcopters of…" I whispered to Zvi who was sitting next to me, and he immediately covered my mouth: "You with your definitions." That was in late 1986 or early 1987, a period when Zvi came to visit Israel and was even thinking about getting married here.

– The 'energy sources' of magic are the earth or concepts of 'universe' or 'heaven', which do not depend on astronomical space, whereas the source of Chapa's knowledge is space itself.
Chapa's Space Knowledge ≠ Magic
(Even though Chapa's knowledge contains panpsychic elements, mainly in the ancient science of the G.W (Galactic Wisdom) schools which he never abandoned, and he views magic as a scientific practice). People can confuse the two when their results appear outwardly identical. (And a sophisticated Yahweh system knows how to perform almost everything magic can do. An 'Intelligence' can also perform magic).
"Can sorcerers be on your team?" someone asked.
Chapa pretended to look to both sides, then turned his head back, then forward again, and said: "Do you see any other people next to me? I don't. So who are you calling a team? But fine, let's assume I have a team—I don't disqualify people based on their profession. Sorcerers can be on my 'team' just as they could be on yours, exactly like municipal surveyors could be. Or they might not—it doesn't really matter."
This was roughly the seventh or eighth meeting I attended since Chapa resumed the gatherings in September 1986. It was in the exact same place as the first meeting, with the woman in red. From all those attending, Chapa was handpicking people with tweezers for the first new group he wanted to establish.
"Yes, religion is magic, and that is perhaps what magic and space knowledge have in common. It processes them both," said Chapa. "Or loses them," Zvi said, and Chapa agreed.
"Doesn't lose them at all," Stoli commented, dazed from his corner. "Look how successful it is, where it is and where we are."

ידע החלל של חפא ≠ כישוף
(למרות שיש בידע החפאי' יסודות פאנפסיכיים, בעיקר במדע הקדמון של בתי הספר של הת"ג אותו לא נטש, והוא רואה בכישוף פרקטיקה מדעית). אנשים יכולים לבלבל בין הדברים כשתוצאתם נראית לכאורה זהה. (ומערכת מתוחכמת של יהווים יודעת לבצע כמעט כל מה שכישוף יודע. גם 'בינה' יכולה לעשות כישוף).
"מכשפים יכולים להיות בצוות שלך?" שאל מישהו.

זאת הייתה בערך הפגישה השביעית או השמינית שנכחתי בה מאז חידש חפא את הפגישות בספטמבר 1986. היא גם הייתה בדיוק באותו מקום שבו הייתה הפגישה הראשונה, עם האישה באדום. חפא אסף מכל הבאים לפגישות, בפינצטה, אנשים לקבוצה החדשה הראשונה שרצה להקים.
"כן, דת היא כישוף, וזה אולי משותף לכישוף ולידע החלל. את שניהם היא מעבדת" אמר חפא "או מאבדת, בא'" אמר צבי וחפא הסכים.
