These elections are currently in the "Assembly" selection phase, which will essentially set the agenda for the next seven years according to the Earth timeline. The names of the elected — the more they are identified with such names — will reveal nothing, just like the names (or whatever they have) of those who preceded them. Only in the coming seven years will we see to what extent those elected will actually give a damn about what happens on Earth and how strongly their actions will affect what happens here. Still, some people think this is a game worth betting on.
